Ancient History

Tom McFaul and I first met in 1962 as music students at University of Illinois, when he was 18 and I was 19. We became friends quickly because of our mutual interests in music. When we left school, we worked together for nearly four years in an ultimately unsuccessful band known by various names, the activities of which are thoroughly documented on my own Web site.

Eventually we went separate ways and had no contact for many years. In 2000, a project I was working on led me to locate my old bandmates once again. Since that time, through the wonders of the Internet, we have been in touch regularly.

It has been a pleasure to create this site for Tom, and at the same time to renew and extend old acquaintances.
